- This week’s race truck for the Martinsville Speedway is Chassis No. 23-121. This is a brand new truck that Johnny Benson will drive this weekend; however, it is the same truck he tested and ran very well with at Martinsville two weeks ago.
- On Board… TCUV will once again sponsor Benson’s truck during Saturday’s race.
- Looking back… Benson finished second in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Martinsville in October 2002. He was driving Nelson Bowers’ Valvoline-sponsored Pontiac.
- Points… Of the three BDR teams, Benson ranks highest in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship standings at this point in the season. He hopes to improve on that stat this weekend.
- Tested and Approved… Benson, his No. 23 TCUV crew and his fellow BDR teammates spent time two weeks ago preparing for this race during a test session at Martinsville Speedway.
- Listen and watch … The Kroger 250 is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET Saturday, March 29. It will broadcast live on the FOX Channel (TV), MRN (radio) and Sirius Satellite Radio (Ch. 128).

“We ran great here at the test a few weeks ago with our new truck, and I am very excited about racing it. The last few times we have raced at Martinsville we have ran quite well, and hopefully we can capitalize on that again this weekend. We have had a pretty good season up to this point; except for the Atlanta race. So our goal this weekend is to get a good finish and get those points back we lost at Atlanta.”
