2008 Daytona Testing Update - Day 2

Tuesday was another successful day of testing for Bill Davis Racing’s No. 22 Caterpillar Racing team at Daytona International Speedway. Posting speeds near the tops of the charts in both single car runs in the morning and again when the participants took to the track in the afternoon for the first drafting practice, Dave Blaney, Tommy Baldwin and the BDR crew were more than happy with the results. Most of the six Toyota teams again led the field in both sessions and Blaney posted the 12th and 13th times of the 52 cars that were at the 2.5-mile tri-oval in the morning and the 7th and 27th times in the afternoon.

After the day of testing was complete, Blaney spent the evening participating in Preseason Thunder Fan Fest, answering questions for fans on the FanZone stage in the infield of the speedway.

The Caterpillar Racing team will spend the final day of the test working on much the same as Tuesday before heading back to North Carolina to prepare for a day of testing at North Carolina Speedway in Rockingham, N.C. on Friday.
